Research Focus
Our research focuses on the early development of attention, perception, learning and memory for social and nonsocial events in both typically developing infants and children and in children of atypical development. We are federally funded and known for our research on the development of attention and intersensory processing of social events (faces, voices, and speech) and object events, as well as perception of social contingencies. Our research is grounded in the ecological perspective and developmental systems theory.
