Dr. Lorraine E. Bahrick

Dr. Lorraine Bahrick, Ph.D. is the Director of the Infant Development Lab and Professor of Psychology at FIU. She has conducted research on the development of attention, perception, learning, and memory in infancy and early childhood, with a particular focus on intersensory perception and the emergence of social attention. She also studies atypical attention and perception in children with autism. Dr. Bahrick has been awarded numerous federal research grants to conduct studies in the area of infant and child cognitive and perceptual development and has published over 70 scientific articles on these topics.
